LB&L-12/17 update

There's a lot going in in the pre-production of Look Back & Laugh.

I decided to do a quick introductory video for DVXuser to introduce myself and the cast. So you can check that out.

Scouted out some exterior location sites on Wednesday.

That's pretty much it for now.

LB&L-12/15 update

We're really moving along here. I'm happy to announce we have our first location locked down and a shoot date on the calender. The camera starts rolling on Sunday, January 10th. Thanks to everyone for their cooperation so far.

Here are some pics from our first location: "The bar".

This should be a fun one to light. We need to cast a few extras as bar patrons. The beers will be flowing that day if you are interested.

LB&L-The Saga Begins....

Wow. When was the last time I posted an entry on this? August, 2008? A lot has happened. Well, just one major event, the birth of our son in February of 2009. Other than that it's been the same old crap. Same job, still skateboarding, I had a brief fascination with Facebook, but now I'm bored of it, blah blah.

Anyways, I figured this blog would be a great place to jot down production notes/pics and etc relating to the next short film I will be working on for the DVXuser Betrayal Fest: Look Back and Laugh. As per the rules of the contest, the subject matter of the film has to deal with "betrayal". Where was the subject of betrayal touched upon more than in 1980's hardcore music? That's right, this film will be a sort of homage to the musical genre that I know and love.

Here's what we know so far: The script is pretty much done. We have our two lead actors.

Here's the lineup (so far)

CREW:

Director: Scott Frosch
Writer: Scott Frosch
Cinematography: Scott Frosch
Lighting: Michael Pinto
Grip: Spike
Sound: Roxy
More to come!

The deadline for the contest is March 6th. So we hope to shoot in January giving plenty of time to edit in February. Now, we all know that nothing ever goes to plan, but I'll give it my best shot. Check back here for more updates.

Peace and love, peace and love.
